Roxy The Red Fox

I like to highlight some of the wildlife that stand out around here in our Colorado neighborhood. We have George the bear - a bold and curious cinnamon bear, Skrags the red fox, with his scraggly appearance and Sploot, a large ground squirrel to name a few. This year Roxy the Red Fox became famous because she adds quite a bit of awesomeness around here.

Roxy is a friendly, curious fox that has been coming around for a few months. I was introduced to her as she stood there staring at me through our glass front door - of course I grabbed my camera for the event. Roxy seems to be super curious and not shy and will run around the yards here almost unafraid. Roxy, not being too afraid of humans isn't a real problem because we live 2000 feet above the main town and don't allow hunting on roughly 2200 acres - a preserve of sorts. She has plenty of room to roam and be free unmolested by humans.
